Baggage fees are common upon check-in at the airport. These fees are the responsibility of the passenger.
Fees for theatrical or live performances outside of our tour itinerary are the responsibility of the passenger.
Travel insurance is recommended for all travelers, in the event that they have need to cancel.

Itinerary
DAY 1: HAVANA, CUBA
Arrive at Jose Marti Airport, Havana, Cuba. Hola, Cubita Linda. After clearing customs and getting luggage we travel to Hemingway’s home and visit “Finca Vigia”. On route we will stop at one of the exchange stores for currency conversion. Visiting the Hemingway home is a great interaction for the travelers to see how much Hemingway loved Cuba, the location that inspired him to write several notorious novels.
Lunch is included.
After lunch we gather as a group to discuss the program for our time in beautiful Cuba. A welcome cocktail is part of this interaction, which is a terrific way to kick-off the holiday celebration while meeting your fellow travelers and the tour consultant.
The next few hours is relaxation time to allow you to settle in to your accommodations.
8:00pm - Dinner is included.
After dinner features a casual walk around Central Park (Parque Central) in Old Havana for some music and site seeing. We will stroll past the Capital Building (Capitolio), the National Museum of Beautiful Arts (Museo Nacional de las Bellas Artes) and the Grand Theater (Gran Teatro). In the evenings, these architectural beauties are powerful and elegant with dramatic lighting effects.
DAY 2: HAVANA, CUBA
8:30am - Breakfast at your residence. During our tour, we start every morning with breakfast where we are staying so we can interact with the group more effectively. During your breakfast, the wonderful home owners will share stories of Cuban life as seen through their eyes.
After breakfast we begin our journey to visit the art studio of Jose Fuster and his mosaic “city”.
1:00pm - Lunch is included.
After lunch we will embark on a panoramic tour of Havana: Plaza of the Revolution (Plaza de La Revolucion), Colon Cemetery, Botanical Gardens (El Bosque de la Havana), Fifth Avenue (5ta Avenida) and the famous seawall, El Malecon.
The next stop is the Hotel Nacional, a historical luxury hotel, circa 1930. There are terrific sunset views of Havana and El Malecon from the hotel.
The remainder of the evening is free for the travelers to do as they wish. Relax at your residence or return to Havana at night to experience the city that is always alive with music and charm.
DAY 3: Pinar Del Rio, Cuba
8:00am - Breakfast and we will depart to Pinar Del Rio.
The Western-most province of Cuba, famous for its rich soil, tobacco production and picturesque scenery. We will visit the charming village of Viñales nestled in the Sierra de los Organos mountains. Viñales Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and settlement dating back to the Spanish colonial era. The area while quiet, is booming with excitement and a lively population.
After we settle in to our accommodations, we will visit the Prehistoric Mural (Mural de la Prehistoria).
2:00pm - Lunch is included.
Our next adventure is the Indian Caves (Cuevas del Indio), this includes a small boat ride.
Rest period prior to dinner.
8:00pm - Dinner is included.
The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the welcoming town of Viñales.
Day 4: Pinar Del Rio, Cuba
8:00am - Breakfast and departure for further exploration of Viñales.
This day allows us to continue to enjoy the natural beauty of the region before heading back to Havana after lunch.
For the tobacco aficionado and those just curious, this morning we visit “Benito’s” tobacco farm which is a favorite stop among our groups.
Tour the Guayabita del Pinar rum factory. This specialty spirit originated from this region.
Visit the Balcony (El Mirador) offers breathtaking views of the valley, an excellent photography stop.
Listen to live, traditional Cuban Music at “The Balcony” (El Mirador).
1:00pm - Lunch is included.
After lunch we drive back to Havana.
We will enjoy a little time to rest and prepare for dinner.

Day 5: Havana, Cuba
10:00am - Breakfast at your residence.
Today, we tour Havana’s Old Town (La Habana Vieja), which in 1982 was awarded UNESCO Heritage Site status. You will walk through squares surrounded by the impressive baroque and neoclassic-style buildings that have made Havana one of the most architecturally significant cities in the Americas. A stroll through Central Park (El Parque Central) provides a magnificent view of the beautiful surrounding buildings while the large shade trees act as umbrellas to shelter visitors from the sun.
2:00pm - Lunch is included.
Along the way, we visit The Cathedral Square and tour the inside of one of the oldest Cathedrals in the Western Hemisphere. This stop is a favorite of all religious denominations because of the building’s history and beauty. Next, we travel down Obispo Street which is one of Havana’s most populous streets. For those who wish to shop, this route is lined with stores from Bernaza Street to Plaza de Armas.
9:00pm - Dinner is included: New Year’s Eve Celebration (dinner and dancing) elegant event!
Day 6: Playa Del Este & Havana, Cuba
10:00am - Breakfast at your residence. Happy New Year’s!
Optional: After the celebration some may require some extra rest and relaxation. Therefore, on this day we offer the option of a “free day” (on your own) or you can spend the day at one of the local beaches (Playa Del Este).
Transportation to the beach will be available.
Lunch is on your own today.
7:30pm - Dinner is included.
After dinner we will visit the La Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabana for the 9:00pm cannon blast. This fort is the largest in the Americas and the nightly ceremony is conducted by an honor guard wearing 18th century military garb.
Optional: After the cannon blast, a member of the team will accompany those who wish to visit the Avenida del Puerto Brewery for some beer and music.
DAY 7: HAVANA, CUBA
9:00am - Breakfast at your residence. Today features opportunities to view the arts of Havana and partake in shopping at the local market. The hand-made crafts and paintings which are sold at the market are popular gifts and memorabilia, for a terrific price.
Visit the Cuban National Ballet (Ballet Nacional de Cuba)
Tour the Museum of Ron Havana Club
Experience the Fototeca de Cuba (Art Gallery/Studio)
12:00pm - Lunch is included.
Shop at the local market. Local artisanal crafts and art are favorites here.
Return to our homes for some rest and relax prior to the final celebration.
8:00pm - Dinner and show included: Dress to impress for our final evening in Havana.
DAY 8: HAVANA, CUBA
8:00am - Breakfast
Prepare for check-out at noon and depart for the airport.
Travel authorized by license through the Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) that authorizes registered guests of our programs to legally travel to Cuba to participate and engage in a full time schedule of authorized exchange activities in Cuba, which will involve meaningful interaction between travelers and people in Cuba.
Deposit
A deposit of $700 per person is required to guarantee your reservation, which will be applied towards the cost of your tour. Deposits are generally non-refundable, except in rare cases when we cannot confirm all components of a booking at the purchase price.
Final Payment
Any pending balance must be paid in full at least 90 days prior to departure. If your booking falls within the 90 days, payment in full is expected at the time of booking.
